Matching Gift Program

Our chapter is starting a Matching Gift Program (also known as Matching Funds). Matching
funds are charitable contributions an employer makes to match or double its
employees/retirees contributions to a specific charity. This doubles the contribution to the
Pap Corps. Pap can use your donations and matching gifts made to any of our fundraising
events as a valid charitable gift.

In addition to you, this can include a friend or relative who works for a company that gives
matching funds, and who might either make a donation to us or sponsor the walkathon.

The process is easy. Check if your present or past employer gives matching gifts, acquire
the form from them, complete the form, and send it along with your donation to our
chairman, Sondra Heydt,  who will forward it on to the Pap Corps at Deerfield. Within 3
months the company verifies the eligibility of the employee/retiree, and the Pap Corps and
the company sends the matching check to Deerfield.
